Responsibilities
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- Perform dental cleanings and screenings to assess and maintain oral health.
- Conduct thorough and accurate oral assessments.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized oral health guidance.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
- Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Clinical needs as required by the practice.
Qualifications
- Current license as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
- CPR certification.
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to educate and engage patients in their oral health.
- Proficient in using dental software and X-ray equipment.
