Dr. Jeffrey Milone, DMD – Periodontist & Dental Implant Specialist

Dr. Jeffrey Milone is a board-certified Periodontist and Implant Specialist with over 30 years of experience in periodontal surgery and implantology. Throughout his career, he has performed a wide range of advanced procedures, including osseous and pocket reduction surgery, gingival grafting, extractions, socket bone grafting, bony ridge augmentation and recontouring, sinus bone augmentation, and clinical crown lengthening. He is also a Certified Pinhole Surgical Technique provider for minimally invasive gingival grafting. Dr. Milone has placed over 6,000 dental implants, including computer-guided placements, and is highly skilled in both surgical and cosmetic periodontal procedures.

Dr. Milone takes a comprehensive and collaborative approach to patient care. He begins with a detailed diagnostic evaluation and develops personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals. He values open communication and works closely with referring general dentists to ensure cohesive, high-quality care. Known for his honesty, empathy, and meticulous attention to detail, Dr. Milone is committed to delivering optimal outcomes for every patient he treats.

Dr. Milone earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Lehigh University in 1987. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1992, followed by a General Practice Residency at Monmouth County Hospital in 1993. He went on to complete his specialty training in Periodontics at UMDNJ in 1995.

From 1995 to 2020, Dr. Milone maintained a successful private practice in New Jersey. In 2021, he relocated with his family to Florida, initially practicing in Sarasota before settling on the east coast to be closer to his children.

Dr. Milone enjoys boating, fishing, playing pickleball, and spending quality time with his wife and family. He’s also a talented musician who enjoys playing guitar and singing in his free time.
